The FERM HDM1026S is a compact 600W Rotary Hammer equipped with electronic speed control and SDS-Plus chuck. 1,8 Joule impact energy makes this rotary hammer suited for drilling holes of max. 20 mm in concrete and 13 mm in steel and for several light demolition jobs in concrete. Two chisels are included for the light demolition jobs.
The machine is equipped with 3 meter rubber cable and comes in a robust storage case including 3 SDS-Plus drills (6, 8 and 10 mm), 1 flat SDS-Plus chisel and 1 pointed SDS-Plus chisel.
A hammer drill is mainly used for drilling jobs in concrete and stone. Because of the pneumatic impact power a rotary hammer is suitable for drilling larger holes in harder materials. Compared to an impact drill, the rotary hammer works more comfortable; less pushing force is needed and the user experiences less vibration. Another advantage is that hammer drill are equipped with a chisel function for chiselling jobs, removal of tiles and several demolition jobs.
